I forgot the best part!!

Don't forget to read my other post from today but I had to post this.. duh! How did I forget?? (ok, my brain doesn't work.. whatever).

My kids have noticed my weight loss. I've asked a few times over the past three months and I hear, "Nope, your butt's still big." or "Nah, you still look like you could have a baby." At least Drew does very well in the compliment department.

But this past week Aubrey has been telling me that all of her friends (and her) like that I've gotten smaller and look so cute. Her friends think I'm either 21 or 23. Cause that makes so much sense since Aubrey turned 9 this past week. But that's ok, I'll take it. lol

And Hayden looked startled after I asked him and said, "Wow, you ARE smaller! You know, you should change your name to Becky Cute/Beautiful/Diamond/Sparkle because you look so nice."

I'm thinking Becky Sparkle has a nice ring to it.... :-D

Not sure the week.. lol

I haven't updated in a bazillion years. My bad.

The past few weeks have been going much slower in the weight loss department.

I have cut out my nursing points a week ago (or was it two weeks ago.. hmm.. think last week) since Kaitlyn isn't doing much of that.. Have to be more careful about what I eat. I now get 27 points instead of 33.

Last week I gained .8. This week I lost 1.8 (although sadly it was down a bit lower yesterday.. mental note: do not stay up late snacking the night before I have to weigh in). I'm happy with it though..

24 pounds total! Yay!

Last summer I used a giftcard from my dad and bought a couple pairs of jeans on sale from Old Navy (online). Only to find that when they arrived, I could not zip them up. At Christmas, i could not get them up, period.

This past week I was able to put both pairs on and easily zip them up. And wear them without feeling like I was going to puke from them being tight.

LOVE IT!

I did well with Aubrey's birthday this past week as well.. in our family, the child gets to choose where we go out to eat. She chose Golden Corral. And who knew, but they have nutritional information for *everything*! I loaded up on Salad.. and then a piece of salmon (which they serve in appropriate 3oz serving sizes), mashed potatoes & gravy (I scooped out what the serving size was rather than glopping it on). And about 3/4 a plate full of steamed cauliflower- which they do NOT add any butter too. Sound boring? I thought so too. So I sprinkled on some parm. cheese that was in the salad area. Mmmm And I resisted the roll (4points) and butter (50 million points, I'm sure). No carrot cake (9 points) or any other desserts. Instead, I enjoyed a strawberry (cause it's pink) cupcake at home which I made myself.. use egg white substitue and did half oil/half apple sauce.. and measured out the frosting for mine. Figured it was 3-4 points.

I'm hoping to exercise more this week. Details, details. People say it helps. Guess we'll see next week. ;o)
